It’s always a big deal when it RAINS in Scottsdale. We make somewhat of a state holiday out of it, since we really don’t get all that much. So imagine the buzz when it SNOWED a short time ago. A wicked cold snap as we moved into March brought us not only flurries, but snow that stayed on the ground for days. Really it’s beautiful. Snow on the cactus, snow in the mountains, snow next to our pools and patios. I just had to share some photos that were sent to me compliments of Scott Lehmann and Tamera Robb. I think they capture the beauty of this recent phenomenon perfectly.
Now we are into tank tops and shorts and enjoying MLB Spring Training, which is always a good choice, especially for those who are visiting from places where it snows all the time. This is why I love Scottsdale. I’ll put up with the scorching days of summer just to enjoy the springtime here.
