When breast cancer became a part of my life in 2008, I wanted to find a way to help others who have been faced with a cancer diagnosis. Having pondered the Breast Cancer 3-Day 60 mile walk, I finally decided to put together a team. Team BAD GIRLS walked 60 miles over three days in November 2009 to celebrate survivors and raise funds to end breast cancer.
Our team goal was originally set at $10,000, and we blew it away, raising $35,000 with just ten women on board. Since then, this team has blossomed and created wonderful friendships in addition to raising in excess of $300,000. Although the Arizona 3-Day event was removed from the schedule, our team continues to walk for the cause in other venues and continue the fund raising effort with many local events all benefitting the cause.
To take our collective commitment to the next level, we founded Bad Girls Do Good Things, a charitable organization which now has reached beyond the realm of the 3-Day. Since its inception we have held a wide variety of fund raisers including Golf Tournaments, Casino Nights, and many others. For those of you who may not want to participate in the walk but may be interested in donating funds to our organization, you can make an online credit card donation by Clicking Here. Like us on Facebook to keep up with our news as well. I am passionate about what these funds will do for so many, and have committed my own business to the cause, donating funds to the 3-Day from my real estate transactions. I am so fortunate to be here to do something positive with my experience. Your support is so appreciated.
Remember, Bad Girls do Good Things!
